Mission and Ministry at the Mount
The Mount’s Center for Mission & Belonging, located in the Seton Center, includes ministry and service opportunities for students to explore, express and enhance their faith and spirituality, engage with the Mission of the University, and honor the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities of all members of the Mount community. Inspired by Catholic faith and traditions, along with the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati heritage and values, our ministry opportunities strive to build a community of faith based on Gospel values. Respect and concern for all persons, honoring diversity of cultures and beliefs, service to others, caring relationships, as well as personal and communal prayer are central to our mission, and our vocation.
The Mount offers a variety of programs and events including weekly Sunday Mass, non-denominational worship services, interfaith prayer, Bible study, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), rosary, retreats, faith sharing groups, liturgical celebrations, service opportunities, as well as peace and justice activities. The Mount values, welcomes, and embraces persons of diverse faith traditions, backgrounds, and experiences.
